Scrub Pants – FAQ's

What styles are available for scrubs pants?

We offer several style cuts in the nursing scrub pants: jogger style such as the Softies Oxford Jogger Scrub Pants OP01, cargo, flare leg, straight leg and hybrid leg scrub pants (Eton Scrub Pant) which feature a straight leg from the front and a jogger style on the back for a snug fit on top of your nursing shoes.

Do you do XS and oversized scrub pants?

Yes, we do, in fact some of our scrubs such as the Jb's 4SRP Unisex Scrub Pants go as small as a 3XS and goes up to a 5XL.

Can I mix and match scrub tops and nurse pants from different brands?

Unfortunately, you cannot because the scrubs may be navy but different brands have different shades of navy, hence it is best to buy a scrub pant and scrub top from the same brand and style.

I am starting a placement in a hospital, what nursing scrub pants will be suitable?

Most hospitals do not allow jogger scrub pants, the ideal pants for hospital uniforms are the straight leg scrub pants such as the Softies Cambridge Scrub Pant CP01 or the Jb's 4SRP1 Women's Scrub Pant.

What are the best-selling colours in scrub pants?

Our top selling colours are black and navy, in fact hospitals use the colours to co-ordinate teams and hierarchy. Navy colour is usually used by qualified staff and black for trainee and junior staff. For beauticians who choose to wear scrub pants the Softies London Scrub Pant available in pink and purple is also a very popular choice.

Are the scrub pants true to size?

Unfortunately, every scrub company will have a different sizing, please always check the size chart or contact us for a size chart as the sizes vary between brands. Our range of American scrubs (Dickies, Cherokee and Skechers) will run a totally different sizing range to Australian sizes.

What fabrics are available for scrub pants?

We offer traditional cotton or polyester cotton fabrics as well as new lightweight polyester stretch fabrics with spandex. Cotton scrub pants recently have lost their shine and not many suppliers make them due to high rates of shrinkage with washing and colour fading. Recent trends in fabrics include polyester/spandex blends aimed at comfort and stretch such as the Softies Chelsea Unisex Scrub Pants. Another popular choice for durability is the polyester/cotton blend as featured in the Biz Collection H10620. For the young and trendy user, athleisure modern stylish fit pants such as the Skechers by Barco Women's Mid-Rise Breeze Scrub Pant SK202 are very popular.

What is the difference between Biz Collection and Bizcare scrubs?

Biz Collection scrubs only offer a limited budget scrubs range, mainly in a polyester/cotton blend. BizCare is a brand of Biz Collection but with a premium range of scrub tops, pants and tunics. Popular Bizcare scrub pants include the Bizcare Avery and the Bizcare Tokyo scrub pants which also feature an anti-bacterial fabric.

What international brands of scrub pants do you supply?

Our international scrubs brands include the below along with the top sellers:

What are Skechers Slip-Ins scrub pants?

These types of scrub pants are preferred by healthcare professionals because they are easy to wear and have a soft stretchy fabric. As the range is fairly new it only consists of two scrubs pants: Skechers by Barco Women's Slip-Ins Pace Jogger Scrub Pant SKP669 and the Skechers by Barco Women's Slip-Ins Reach Scrub Pant SKP668.
