Who wears tunic uniform tops?

Tunics tops are generally worn in the health, beauty, cosmetic, dental and spa facilities. Occasionally nail artists, laser clinic and hair salon staff do also prefer to wear the tunic tops which are available in pure black or white or with a contrast piping. The tunics are generally only worn by women and available in women sizes only.

As part of a spa uniform, what can be worn with a tunic top?

Generally, the tunic is worn on top, and most women prefer to either wear smart black trousers or scrub pants which look equally impressive in either a straight leg or jogger style offering plenty of pockets. The tunics can also be customised if required with your clinic logos and branding. Some clinics also prefer that staff wear either smart trainers or nursing shoes as they are on their feet all day and a slip resistant pair of shoes is preferred.  

How does a tunic top and a scrub top differ; can I wear either as part of my uniforms for the beauty salon?

You can wear either a scrub top or a health and beauty tunic; this all depends on your personal preference and uniforms guidelines. A tunic is more popular as its more stylish, structured and more professional looking than a regular scrub top.

What sizes are available in the tunic tops?

Most tunic brands would offer a standard women’s sizing range from 6-24 but there are also a few styles that offer a size 4 and oversized tunics in size 30.

Does the spa tunic have buttons or zips?

We have both variants of tunics, some tunics have a full front zip, back zip as in the Softies Devon Tunic or press stud closure. There are a few wrap or crossover tunics as well such as the Mandarin Collar H134LS and the Biz Collection H630L. The style of the salon tunic and closure all depends on the individual and company uniforms guidelines.

Do the tunic tops require dry cleaning?

Absolutely not, our tunic tops are meant for everyday wear and can be washed with your regular laundry with no need to dry clean. Most of the tunic tops are easy care, easy iron and some are also Teflon coated to prevent stains.

Do tunic tops have stretch?

Yes, they do, most of the tunics for spa and beauty use also incorporate elastane or spandex into the fabric for stretch and flexibility. We understand that you need mobility and flexibility during your workday and hence we have sourced tunic ideal for all day wear at work.
